Basic Instincts is a premium fragrance brand crafted for modern India—designed to embody confidence, sophistication, and individuality. Rooted in Indian culture and climate, the brand blends international perfume standards with local sensibilities, creating long-lasting, versatile scents that empower identity and leave a lasting impression.
OBJECTIVE
The mission was to build and scale the complete brand ecosystem of Basic Instincts through a 360-degree creative approach. This included developing the brand guide, designing packaging, executing product photography and videography, and leading end-to-end social media content creation. From ideation and scripting to weekly shoots and post-production, the project required delivering a consistent stream of high-quality digital assets at scale. The goal was to establish a bold, refined, and cohesive brand identity that reflects modern luxury while resonating deeply with Indian consumers.
THE IDEA
Translating the invisible power of fragrance into a visual language that feels confident, magnetic, and effortless. Inspired by the brand’s core philosophy—“luxury made for India”—the content approach focused on minimal, product-led storytelling where each frame reflects elegance and intent.
The visual system was built around clean compositions, strong typography, and a refined color palette, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Photography and films were designed to feel aspirational yet relatable, capturing the duality of the brand—bold yet sophisticated, modern yet culturally rooted. Copy and communication followed a tone that is confident, not loud; magnetic, not forced—mirroring the character of the fragrances themselves.
